Sanwoolu Sustains Oyesanya Legacy Project, approves Ilaje Street completion in Kosofe

The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwoolu, has sustained late Ikosi Isheri Local Council Development Area Chairman, Alhaji Abdulfatai Ayodele Oyesanya legacy Project in Ikosi Isheri by approving the completion of the abandoned project.Ilaje Street was awarded to Ogbodo Construction Civil Engineering Limited.

According to the Signpost at the project site, the Construction commenced in August 2019. The completion duration is 6 months.

Before the sudden death of Oyesanya’s the drainage system has been successful completed and the rest were left undone.About 7 months after the expected delivery, succour came to the residents of Ilaje, Mile 12, Ikosi Isheri, Kosofe through Governor Babajide Sanwoolu 377 state-wide projects across all wards in the state.

The state government last month flag off the construction of 257 Community roads and drainages across the state. 86 public buildings would be rehabilitated, while two jetties, nine water projects and 23 power projects will be installed across the wards.

Meanwhile, out of the 377 total projects, wards in the Lagos East Senatorial District will have 99 executed and implemented.Kosofe Local Government, Ikosi Isheri and Agboyi Ketu LCDAs are expected to benefit from the Governor’s initiative that outnumbered Ex Governor Akinwunmi Ambode yearly 114 roads construction.Ambode construct two roads per local government. Meanwhile, his successor spread the project across 244 wards, 103 Lcda wards in the state.

Efforts are still ongoing to confirm whether about 18 months abandoned Multipurpose Motor park Laybye beside Ketu Divisional Police station was nominated for completion.
