A Non-Governmental organization has organized a free eye screening for residents of Kosofe as part of its efforts towards making life meaningful for the people.
The Ketu youth in partnership with the Eye Foundation Hospital organized the exercise at Ketu area of Lagos on Saturday, February 27, where about 500 people benefited.
The exercise include free eye screening, reading glasses, eye drops, cataract surgical operation among others.
The President of Ketu Youth wing of Balogun Oyero Descendant Association, Prince Oluwaseun Kazeem Balogun while speaking to Kosofe Post said,’ Ketu youth lauds the Eye Foundation Hospital for the partnership.”
“Good health and wellbeing is goal number 3, of the Sustainable Development Goals as a youth organization we used the programme to sensitize about 500 people of Ketu Kingdom on the vital sensory organs of the body and others”, Kazeem said.
Hundreds of the beneficiaries expressed their profound gratitude to the ketu youth for the critical life’s mission initiative.
