A Chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party area of Kosofe, Lagos State, Honourable Rahman Owokoniran emerged as the General Secretary of the party at Southwest Congress.
Owokoniran, One time member of the Lagos State House of Assembly and Honourable Commissioner for Housing in Lagos, a candidate backed by camp Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, emerge new South-West Zonal General Secretaryof Peoples Democratic Party on Monday.
For the post of Zonal Secretary, Rahaman Owokoniran got 338 to defeat Bunmi Jenyo, who got 328.
