‘Mayor Dele Oshinowo’s Second Term’ chants rend the air, as Federal Lawmaker, Agunsoye’s Facilitated Blocks of Classrooms in Agboyi-Ketu get commissioned

It was electrifying as the chants of Mayor Dele Oshinowo for second term rent the air as residents of Agboyi-Ketu LCDA welcomed their first citizen with pomp and fervour to an occasion, unveiling the commissioning of two blocks of six classrooms at the premises of Comprehensive/Community Secondary Schools, Alapere.

The commissioned projects were facilitated by the lawmaker representing Kosofe Federal Constituency at the Green Chamber of the National Assembly, Hon. Rotimi Agunsoye.

Speaking at the event, the chairman thanked the lawmaker for finding the LCDA worthy in the allocation of his constituency projects.

Mayor Dele assured that the people’s ownership given to the classroom projects embarked upon by his administration at Alapere, Irepodun and Pastor Adegboyega Primary Schools would also be extended to the new classroom blocks in order to protect them against vandalization.

In his remarks, the facilitator of the project, Hon. Agunsoye said the aim behind the project was to ensure that the future champions acquired knowledge in a serene environment.

The highpoint of the occasion was the cutting of the tape by the Lagos State Governor, ably represented by the Lagos State Commissioner for Education, Mrs. Folashade Adefisayo.
