S/West PDP: Arapaja meets Fayose in Lagos
The People’s Democratic Party PDP), South West zonal chairman, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja meets Ex-Governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose.
The meeting took place on Tuesday, May 8 2021 at Magodo, Kosofe area of Lagos residence of Fayose.
The former Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Arapaja in his remarks said ; “I was the one who called to say I want to come and meet you and I thank you for honouring my request in the interest of the party.”
The details about the meeting are still a little sketchy.
However, Kosofe Post gathered that, Arapaja visitation was part of the reconciliation efforts embarked on after defeating Fayose sponsored candidates during the last Southwest Zonal Congress to position the party in the region ahead of 2023 general Elections.
Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja, was accompanied by Kosofe PDP Chieftain and Zonal West Zonal Secretary, Honourable Rahman Owokoniran, zonal women leader, Modinat Adedibu, Lagos PDP Chairman, Deji Doherty and other executive members.
