LG Election: Lanre Carew, Moyo Ogunlewe finally meet

The leading Kosofe Local Government Chairmanship aspirant, Lanre Carew and chosen candidate, Moyo Ogunlewe finally meet in Kosofe.

Kosofe post reports that Carew was coasting home to victory at the recent All Progressives Congress primaries election.

The results of five wards out of seven where the election was conducted according to APC’S election summary list have it that Carew leads his close rival, Moyo with about 37 votes margin.

While APC party members were expecting the conclusion of the two outstanding wards.

However, the final list of chairmanship and vice chairman candidates result released by the state chapter of APC announced Moyo Ogunlewe as the party candidate.

This medium learnt that the alleged imposition of Moyo ogunlewe angered thousands of Carew supporters who were initially exploiting available legal avenues to recover the alleged stolen mandate.

Carew, when contacted over his meeting with Kosofe APC Chieftain, Otunba Bushira Alebiosu, Former Member of House of Representatives, Dayo Alebiosu, Moyo ogunlewe and his running mate, Babatunde Saliu is yet to reply to our enquiry as at the time of posting this report.

According to Kosofe Post findings the Managing Director of Farmcity, Lanre Carew is yet to succumb and submerge to the choice of Moyo Ogunlewe for July 24 election.

A source who spoke to KP under the condition of anonymity said the request made by Carew to placate his teeming supporters was declined. As the outcome of the meeting was not fruitful.
