LG Poll: APC defy rainfall, Flags-Off Campaign In Ikosi Isheri

The All Progresives Congress (APC) in Ikosi Isheri, Lagos State defied rainfalls, flagged off its Chairmaship and Councilorship campaign ahead of the July 24 Local Government election in the state.

The event took place opposite the Centre for Management Development ( CMD), Magodo, Shaginsha, Lagos State.

The party Caretaker chairman, Honourable Seyi Odufowokan presented flags to the party chairmaship flagbearer, Mayoress Samiat Bada and Councilorship candidates in the 7 wards areas hands were raised.

Presenting the flag in Magodo on Thursday, the APC Local Government Area Caretaker chairman of the party, Odufowokan directed the flag bearers, and other members of the party to engage in vigorous house-to-house campaign to enable the party to win in all the seven Ward areas under the Lcda.

The prominent APC leaders who spoke at the occasion described Mayoress Samiat Bada short stay in office performance as excellent.

In her remarks, former Vice Chairman of Ikosi Isheri, Princess Bola Kazeem insisted that there is no division in the Ikosi Isheri chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

She noted that the stakeholders aligned with the position of the party on the choice of its Flag bearers.

She added that Samiat delivered policies, programmes and worthwhile projects and urged party members to mobilize massively her consolidate on gains achieved so far.

A member of Lagos State House of Assembly representing Kosofe Constituency 2, Hon. Femi Saheed, Former Ikosi Isheri Sole Administrator, Hon. Afolabi Kazeem, and APC Leader , Abiodun Salami, others charges the party faithful to reach out to residents and vote overwhelming for All Progresives Congress, Samiat Bada and the Councilorship Candidates on July 24.

Ikosi Isheri Lcda cabinet members, Member of legislative Arm, Politicians, Women, Youths, Volunteer Groups, Arewa Community, Ndigbo, Lascota, CDAs representatives, student, representatives, host of Stakeholders graced the Flags-off campaign.
