Ganiu Oni Smile in Magodo-Shaginsha area of Ikosi Isheri Lcda as he finally clinched the All Progressives Congress (APC) Councilorship ticket.
The former People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Ward Chairman for Isheri- Olowoira, Oni has being a serial candidate contesting for Councilorship, Chairmanship, House of Assembly seat on the platform of PDP without recording any success.
Shortly after 2015 general elections Oni decamped along his Godmother, a serving member of Lagos State Audit Board Commission; Honourable Kafilat Ogbara. He attempted Magodo Shaginsha’ Ward B’ ticket in 2017. However, the party decision as it then was odd favoured the outgoing Councilor; Hon. Moruf Adeleye.
He was later rewarded with Special Adviser until fortune smiles on him as the party, Ikosi Isheri caretaker Chairman, Hon. Seyi Odufowokan presented him during APC flag off Campaign as the party flag bearer for the forthcoming July 24 Local Government election.
