Samiat Bada defeated Orosiji with wide Margins

The Executive Chairman of Ikosi Isheri Local Council Development Area and All Progressives Congress Candidate, Samiat Bada defeated the People’s Democratic Party candidate, Orosiji Nurudeen with wide margins.

The returning officer, Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission(LASIEC), Ms Saka-Shenayon Uzezi Gladys on Saturday declared Samiat Bada of All Progressives Congress (APC) winner of the chairmanship election in Ikosi Isheri Local Council Development Area.

Samiat was reelected to serve a new mandate haven’t completed 17 Months remaining tenure of the former Chairman, Abdulfatai Oyesanya, who died in office in 2019.

According to Gladys, the winner scored 15,700 votes to floor the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) candidate who scored 1498 votes.
“Having complied with the requirement of the law and scored the majority votes, Surah Animashaun is hereby declared elected and returned as Chairman of Kosofe Local Government,” She announced.
