Olu of Agboyi, Hrm Oba Monsuru Abimbola Oladega has reiterated the commitment of the Royal palace to the people of Agboyi to
support the annual boxing competition hosted by IBUKUN BOXING CLUB geared towards raw talent’s discovery on 28 of December.
The Monarch who is currently on vacation in New York was duly represented by Honourable Ebenezer Ogunseye where he delivered a speech on his behalf at the event tagged “Ibukun Boxing Day 2021.”
He congratulated the organizer, coach Sheu Kukoyi of Ibukun Boxing Club on his consistency as he organized the 9th season’s Boxing Day competition.
Olu of Agboyi who sponsored the maiden Olu Agboyi Unity Cup in Second quota of year 2022 noted that he would continue to support boxing among other sports morally and financially to discover talented youths in Aworiland and environs.

He urged the boxers to put more efforts and concentrate on their boxing career, adding that the sky is just the beginning.
Hrm Oba Monsuru Abimbola Oladega while sending his new year greetings, he implored philanthropist talented youths geared towards bringing glory to Awori Kingdom home and away.
The organizer and the host Coach Sheu Kukoyi expressed his profound gratitude deep to the Monarch for his overwhelming supports for staging the boxing competition in his ancestral Home.
“I have organized nine 9 Boxing competition at Mile 12 area of Kosofe, I decided to organise the 10th edition in my town in Agboyi ancient town with the support of Hrm Oba Monsuru Abimbola Oladega.”
Speaking further, Kukoyi said the event is organized to change the notion that boxing is meant for thugs and to launch the talented youths into International community to boost their career.
He noted one of their major challenges is the boxing ring rent age, he appealed for support to build a ring to enhance the boxing club efforts geared towards discovery of raw talents among the youths.
The highlights of the highly attended entertaining boxing competition across Lagos State was the present of certificate to the participants by other representatives of the king at the occasion.
