2023: Kosofe Youths drums Support for Abbey Cheche

The youths across Kosofe over the weekends drummed support for Honourable Abiodun Owokoya Abbey Cheche over 2023 Kosofe House of Representatives ticket.

The youths made the call during a sensitization road walk tagged youths walk against social vices‘ organized by the founder of Cheche foundation, Abiodun Owokoya on Saturday.

Several youths, women and aged at the event described Owokoya’s as capable, competent and people’s oriented young prepared person they want as their representatives at the lower chamber of the National Assembly in 2023, urged the party leaders to give him all the required supports to emerge as the party standard flag bearer.

Comrade Owolabi Ojajuni said the essence of the walk was to sensitize the youths on the implications of social vices.

However, he said his major focus is Kosofe Constituency where cultism, rapist, Kidnapping, drug abuses, hoodlums have taken over their community.

He noted that in some part of Kosofe it’s very difficult for people to go out after 8:00 Pm.

He, however, commended Engr. Abiodun Owokoya for organizing and sponsoring sensitization programme geared towards curbing the social vices among others.

“As you can see with our Honourable (Engr) Abiodun Owokoya Aka Abbey Cheche have come with new agenda that say no to drug abuse, child trafficking, hoodlums and Cultism, and we are ready to follow that agenda.

We youths in Kosofe Constituency 1 we want a new life, we want Youth to take over that position.”

Earlier, speaking to the journalists, Owokoya said in complying with President Muhammad Buhari’s 2019 directives that youth should wait until 2023 before running for elective positions that the youths has called on him to represent them.

He further reiterated that without indiscrimination when elected he will take their demands of the residents of Kosofe Federal Constituency to Abuja, not to lekki tollgate.
