Babatunde Saliu celebrates Moyosore, after absenteeism from 5 public functions

The Vice Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, Prince Babatunde Saliu since inception of office on July 27, 2021 has been absent from 5 public functions, later
stormed the council to celebrate Chairman’s Birthday.

The Vice Chairman, who also doubles as special Adviser to Governor Babajide Sanwoolu on Land Matters, was conspicuously missing at the 100 days in office celebration, thanksgiving service, budget stakeholders meeting 2021, Year 2022 Budget retreat, presentation of budget to Legislative Chamber, and several others.

However, Babatunde Saliu was among hundreds of friends, well-wishers, associates, politicians that stormed council to celebrate with the Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe who clocked a year older on February 1, 2022.

Prince Babatunde whose elder brother, Prince Nurudeen was elected as Oloworo of oworo by faction of Elebo Royal family and some traditional leaders is also interested in becoming the Oloworo of oworo despite the ongoing legal action instituted by Ajisegiri’s royal against the Elebo’s.

While away from the council activities and programmes, recently he paid a courtesy visit to Agba Ilu(Indigenous Elders in Oworonshoki) to solicit for their supports towards becoming the next Oloworo.

He reportedly donated several millions to the Indigenous elders and supported Madanwo security outfit with the sum of N2MILLION.
