The Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, Barrister Moyo Ogunlewe, set to partner with consultant to boost Internal Generated Revenues of the council.
While speaking to the pressmen shortly after the presentation of year 2022 fiscal policy tagged budget of all inclusiveness to Kosofe Legislative Arm, he said in additional to procure four Revenue buses that the council considering partnering with a consultant geared towards boosting the revenue drive.
“We are considering a company that will really do the job properly. Do proper enumeration as regards to the shops, radio and TV licenses to see how many of these things we have in this Local Government that’s what matters without proper data you can’t generate Revenue, He said.
He assured residents of Kosofe Local Government of life impacting policies programmes and projects in 2022.
Honourable Idowu Oluloro, the leader of the Kosofe Legislative Arm, assured of the speedy passage of the proposed budget.
He said since the inception of the new administration, there has been synergy among the arms of government.
Oluloro who described Kosofe Local Government Political head, Mr. Moyo as a responsible Chairman said they will do what is necessary to help the chairman fulfill his campaign promises and the needs of the people collated during the December 2021 Stakeholder meeting captured in budget of all inclusiveness. He added,” We want to be sure that the people are represented in that budget”.
He further noted that they will come up with the necessary Bye-laws to assist the Executive in the area of one way parking challenges and revenue drive among others
if the needs arises.
He said security is everybody’s business, he enjoined residents to support the Security Council Committee, Chairman; Barrister Moyo Ogunlewe with the necessary ideas and information geared towards combating crime in their various Communities.
Honourable Segun Babatunde, Kosofe Committee development Committee Chairman, said he was happy over the budget Presentation.
He assured that the CDC/CDA’S will collaborate with the Executive Chairman towards the budget implementation.
We will make sure that all Revenue are paid into the account of the Local Government and doesn’t get into private pockets.
