Kosofe Local Government Legislative Arm has rescinded their decision by Confirming Olalekan aa Akala As revenue Chairman. Kosofe Post can confirm.
Akala earlier nomination by the Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, Moyo Ogunlewe was rejected last week by legislative over private business Transactions petition submitted against him.
According to Kosofe Post source at the lawmakers sitting on Tuesday the former Supervisory Councilor for Environment, Akala’s was confirmed as the Revenue Chairman which finally put to rest the Politics surrounding his choice.
Another source earlier hinted that the Kosofe Local Government Chairman, Moyo after a thorough background checks settled for Akala’s because of his experience in revenue drive and ability to prevent Internal Generated Revenues been diverted to private pockets, among others.
