2023: Alebiosu screened to contest Epe Constituency Assembly seat

The Epe-born politician and member of the Lagos State chapter of the People’s Democratic Party State Excos, Prince Alebiosu Sikiru Ademola, has been screened and cleared to contest Epe Constituency 1, a Lagos State House Assembly seat.

The governorship aspirants, it was learnt, were screened in Ibadan, Oyo State, alongside those from the state by a panel chaired by a former governor of Kaduna State, Senator Ahmed Makarfi. 

The state chapter screened the aspirants for other positions.
For the three senatorial districts, 12 aspirants were screened and cleared; 87 were screened for the House of Representatives seats, while 140 would contest for the assembly tickets for the 40 state legislative seats.

The award-winning aspirant was the party candidate for the 2020 Kosofe Constituency 2 Bye-election and former Kosofe PDP LGA organising Secretary.

Alebiosu, a loyalist of Southwest PDP General Secretary, Alhaji Rahman Owonikoran, is a frontline contestant for the Epe Constituency 1 seat.
