The Lagos State Chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC), in Acme yesterday informed all of the aspirants jostling for Kosofe Constituency 2 vacant seat that the State; Assistant Deputy Secretary, Hon. Femi Saheed is the chosen consensus candidate for bye-election slated for October 31st, 2020.

Notable among include; A former member of Audit board Service Commission, Hon. Abiodun Akhigbe, Ex- Agboyi Ketu Lcda SLG, Gbenga Osobu, Assistant State Publicity Secretary, Hon. Abiodun Salami.
Others include 2015 House of Assembly aspirant; second runner up, Samuel Olanrewaju Adebayo, Broadcaster; Kehinde Ibrahim Oladega Degababa, Omoba Adeyinka Oyediran, Oromidayo Balogun among others.
At Acme meeting all the aspirants reportedly accepted, supported and endorsed and ready to lead the campaign.In earner, APC both Kosofe constituency 2 and Lagos East Senatorial District has quickly moved to the next level by resolving its choice of flag bearers for the two bye-election in record time.
However, as at August 25 , all the PDP aspirants for the two elections appeared before the NWC of the party screening committee to get final clearance ahead of the party’s primary election slated for September 5.
Lagos East Senatorial aspirants: Babatunde Olalere Gbadamosi, Saidat Fafowora, Babatunde Adisa Olanrewaju aka Bob Taner, Princess Abiodun Oyefusi. Also, Kosofe Constituency 2 House of Assembly aspirants, Dele Aroyewun and Princess Alebiosu Sikiru Ademola, others all appeared before the screening committee, yesterday.
