A man sidelined, from “national leader” to no national leader, further insult added by excluding this man from all and almost any important national party meetings. They “shoved” him aside, installed a chairman who was disdainful of him; he waited patiently to drag the chairman man away from the ‘chair’ ,replaced by a buddy of the Lion, fist clenched they went after sitting governors, and delivered blows and jabs, putting everyone in line and making the party into a more disciplined one.
All this while Aso Rock was obviously calculating and betting on the demise of the lion. Yanking away his chairman who apparently overreaching himself, drowned in Benin river. Not to be left in the lurch, as many his detractors started to compare him with a lonely old defenceless lion, who is meat for hyenas!!.
And boy , were there hyenas. In strollers was his erstwhile attorney general, now occupant of Aguda House, thumping the air, fawning the air of darkness through the political space,he the baby in the strollers is now grown enough to take on the ” dying lion”, wait was he really dying or just ageing?
The AG and his handlers were taken aback when a goatee lanky fields man and former right hand man, launched tirades of accusations and threats at our “once invincible” lion. He the AG and his motley crowd of jesters quickly moved to claim the crown of next king . But wait, the duel was still to be held, sensing the situation of attack by pack of hyenas, the lion roared ” Emi lokan “, alas the pack of hyenas who were being led by the Aguda House occupant scattered. Open field slugging, left the inexperienced baby with permanent life altering bruises and decapitation.
