Cultural festivals in Kosofe, Lagos state are cultural, traditional, and social events celebrated in various cultural, social, religious, and traditional settings.
Magodo, Ikosi, Isheri Cultural festivals in 2020 were very colorful and entertaining, with the rich cultural heritage of the people showcased through masquerade displays, colorful cultural dances, and the observation of religious rites, among others. That must be sustained.

However, the low attendance and inadequate publicity and awareness campaign of the world-standard event noticed and noted as challenges. Going forward, the organizer, host, sponsors, and the planning committee must pay adequate attention to prevent such a recurrence in the forthcoming 2022 edition.
Also, political rallies should be for politicians, and religious places of worship should be for worshippers.
Similarly, cultural festivals should be strictly for the promotion of tradition and culture.
Therefore, the political coloration of Ikosi Isheri Magodo Cultural 2022 must be stopped or reduced to a minimum acceptable level to prevent what partially affected the last edition.
