His Royal Majestic Oba Monsuru Abimbola Oladega, Olu of Agboyi land, Agboyi ketu lcda, Kosofe area, Lagos, has stated that there is no reason why residents of Agboyi community would not vote for All Progressives Congress in the next year’s election.

The monarch made this known on Monday while speaking to the Kosofe Post during a special reception organized in honour of the newly appointed Special Assistant to the Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives on political matters in the South West of Nigeria.

Olu of Agboyi, Oba Oladega, expressed his gratitude to Almighty God and thanked the lawmaker for Prince Ibrahim’s appointment.

“We give glory to almighty Allah for the appointment Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, gave my son, our son, Ibrahim Kehinde Oladega’s as S.A on political matters, Southwest States.

“Today we show appreciation for what he did. This is the first time that one of our sons in Agboyi will be given an appointment at the federal level politically.”

The elated Oba again expressed his gratitude to Gbajabiamilla’s and prayed that Almighty God would see him through his journeys.

Speaking on the forthcoming general election in the community and Kosofe constituency 2, he said
“Well, as I have said earlier, even though royal fathers don’t play politics, my own case is different. For the past 40 years, there was no project that we could talk about, but now while I am on the throne, we can boast of about seven to eight projects completed and ongoing, and they were done by an APC-led government.

“I don’t see any reason why we should not vote APC. There’s no reason for me, or for anybody in this home town, to say they will not vote for them because we have about 8 projects from state, local government, and federal level,” the royal father,” Obá Oladega, stated.

While urging the young people of the ancient town to be patient, loyal, and know what they are doing, he said Prince Ibrahim is the first that others will follow suit. “Most of them are also graduates. I believe his is the first and others will follow. “
