Former Kosofe Chapter of the People’s Democratic Party Youth Leader, Sulyman Olayiwola, better known as Opomulero, has abandoned Labour Party and campaigned for Kosofe’s NNPP candidacy.

In the build-up to the political parties’ primary election, he expressed his interest in contesting for the Kosofe Federal constituency seat on the platform of the Labour Party.

He, however, pulled out of the race as a result of the political crisis bedeviling the party in the state.

Opomulero recently demonstrated that he is no longer aligning with the Papa Mama Pikin Party when he changed his Facebook page profile picture to that of the New Nigeria People’s Party candidate for Kosofe Federal Constituency, Abdulwaheed Omotayo Odunuga.

Although, as of this writing, the Independent Electoral Commission has not announced a name as the LP candidate for Kosofe Federal Constituency for the next February 2023 election.

As monitored by the Kosofe Post, he never stopped at that; he went further, posting a series of comments against the All Progressives Congress flagbearer, Kafilat Ogbara, and People’s Democratic Party candidate, Florence Adepegba, while promoting his candidate.

He described the duo of APC-PDP candidates as no match for the candidate of the NNPP.

His comment Partly read, “None of the aspirants is a match to Abdulwaheed in terms of good governance for the ordinary man on the street and the voiceless.”

While declaring his support for Abdulwaheed Omotayo Odunuga, Segun Smith corroborated Opomulero’s comment and said the NNPP candidate is the best among the contestants if Kosofe truly wants a good representation without sentiment.
