Ahead of the February 25 Kosofe Federal Constituency of the Lagos House of Representatives Election, Sulyman Olayiwola, aka Opomulero, has called on opposition parties to unite against the ruling party.

Opomulero appealed while speaking with our correspondent on Tuesday about the chances of opposition parties winning the 2023 election.

He said the best way to protest against the long bank and filling station queues, insecurity, and bad governance is to vote out APC in Kosofe.

“Opposition forces should not rely on the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS), an electronic device designed to read Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and authenticate voters alone; they have to work together to defeat their common opponent, APC,” he said.

He noted that if the ruling party did not form a merger with other opposition forces over 8 years ago, they will never be the current tenants in Aso Rock.

“The Labour Party (LP), the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), the People’s Democratic Party, and other opposition parties should join forces and rally support for one candidate among themselves to challenge the ruling party,” Opomulero said.
