The candidate of the Labour Party for Kosofe Federal Constituency of Lagos, Mrs.Maimunat Olubando Okoya , put aside the Independent Electoral Commission setback as her posters alongside the LP presidential candidate, Peter Obi, flooded Kosofe.

The Kosofe Post reports that the LP candidate did not make the INEC list of House of Representatives candidates announced by the Commission.

The latest check on Wednesday on the list of INEC candidates for Kosofe shows that Olubando is not among the cases noted as pending in court.

Olubando’s face has remained visible and popular, along with her joint poster with presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, across Kosofe.

A source disclosed to the Kosofe Post that Kosofe Labour’s candidate for the House of Representatives may not run as a result of the party crisis that affected the late submission of her name. Adding that her widespread grassroots efforts are being harnessed to galvanize support for Peter Obi in Kosofe Federal Constituency.
