The All Progressives Congress candidate for Kosofe Constituency 1 and member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Sanni Ganiyu Babatunde, has described accusations in Kosofe headlines as mere mudslinging.
The controversial Facebook page that earlier alleged Kosofe Local Government on a series of issues recently accused a former lawmaker of anti-party activities and called unprintable names.
When our correspondent contacted the Lagos State House of Assembly Chairman House Committee on Education about the development, Okanlawon, who was over the development, said it was mere mudslinging. Adding that his focus is an issue-based campaign.
He said, “Mere mudslinging.” Let them go on their character assassination route.Mine is an issue-based campaign. I have my eyes on the ball, and I, along with my constituents, shall sing songs of praise at the end of the election.
“Victory all the way for me and all the APC candidates, by God’s grace.”
The Kosofe Post reports that both the supporters of the lawmaker and the Social Democratic party candidate, Carew Lanre, over the past few weeks have been attacking each other ahead of the March 2023 House of Assembly election.
