A female aspirant under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party, Hon. Florence Adepegba, has again won the re-run primary election of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for the Kosofe Federal Constituency of Lagos State for the 2023 general election in the country.
Florence was declared winner of the primaries that were held at the party secretariat at Mile 12, Kosofe Local Government Area on Monday, securing 29 valid votes to beat Koya for the ticket.

The PDP National Working Committee (NWC) had ordered a repeat of the exercise after the primary election Appeal Panel of the party annulled the previous primary election in which Florence Adegbega was declared winner.
However, the initial result was canceled following a petition by Koya, the eventual loser.
