Christ Embassy Church honours Mayor Dele Oshinowo for development strides
The Executive Chairman, Agboyi-Ketu LCDA, Mayor Dele Oshinowo and some council officials have been honoured by Christ Embassy International Church for their immense contributions to the development of humanity.
The certificates of appreciation, trophies and other gift packs were presented to them today by Pastor Onyekachi Adekoya from Christ Embassy Dayspring Church.
The pastor explained that essence of the recognition was to appreciate and reward hardwork, noting that they have been instrumental in ensuring that the charitable programmes been carried out by the church touch and impact the right people.
Speaking on behalf of the awardees, the chairman thanked the church for bringing their philanthropic assignments to the locality.
While thanking them for their enormous commitment to the progress of the locality, he further enjoined other organizations to join hands with his administration to progress mankind.
It would be recalled that recently the church embarked on a feeding program and distribution of scholarship awards to indigent pupils.
Apart from the Council Chairman, the other awardees are Vice-chairman, Agboyi-Ketu LCDA, Mrs. Folake Kayode, Supervisor for Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Hon. Tola Oyedele-Abubakar, Special Adviser on Primary Education, Mrs. Ebun Olufade and Senior Special Assistant to the Chairman on Education Matters, Alhaja Abiola Osinuga.
