Agboyi Ketu Local Council Development Area Chairman, Mayor Dele Oshinowo, conducted a thorough inspection of the advancing Agboyi Link Bridge project on Thursday. Accompanied by the late Senator Adebayo Oshinowo’s son, Dr. Tunde Rabiu Oshinowo, along with other aides, Mayor Oshinowo assessed the significant strides toward completing the N1 Billion Naira bridge.
Opeyemi Azeez, Chief Press Secretary to the Agboyi Council Chairman, emphasized the transformative impact of Mayor Dele Oshinowo’s leadership. Azeez stated that the Chairman’s commitment to positive collaboration has turned seemingly impossible tasks into reality. Notably, during Mayor Oshinowo’s current tenure, he addressed a decades-long issue in Agboyi town by providing clean and portable water.
Furthermore, in a historic development, Mayor Dele Oshinowo’s vision for improved infrastructure will soon bring vehicular movement to Agboyi town. To ensure the seamless realization of this endeavor, Mayor Oshinowo embarked on an inspection tour of the Agboyi Link Bridge on January 31, 2024.
The Federal Government-funded project, totaling N1 Billion Naira, is on track for completion, promising to be a pivotal asset for the community. Once finished, it is expected to be commissioned by the government and stakeholders for public use, marking a milestone in Agboyi’s history.
