A group called the Sanwoolu Ambassadors has urged residents to collect their permanent voter cards ahead of the March governorship election.
The Kosofe Coordinator of Sanwoolu Ambassadors, Rasheed Awofeso, implored on Thursday, during the group’s roadwalk sensitization held in Lagos Island.
“Sanwoolu Ambassadors, we gathered on Lagos Island today to sensitize the voting public on the need to go and access their PVCs so that they can perform their civic responsibility during the coming election,” he spoke out.
Awofeso noted that the group is determined to give their best towards the electoral victory of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu toward a progressive Lagos and a better Nigeria.
According to him, “all the coordinators for 20 local governments and 37 local council development areas came together to join our colleagues on Lagos Island to do the road walk. We created a tide of sensitization during the exercise among the populace on Lagos Island.”
He urges residents of Lagos State to vote massively for the re-election of Governor Babajide Sanwoolu to sustain the ongoing developmental strides of the performing governor across the state.
Similarly, he announced that the Kosofe roadwalk will take place on January 24, 2023.
