A member representing Kosofe Federal Constituency, Hon. Rotimi Agunsoye has tipped the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Sen. Bola Tinubu, as the next president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Agunsoye made the bold prediction while speaking to newsmen after casting his vote at his ward in Kosofe, Lagos on Saturday.

Agunsoye expressed confidence in Tinubu’s ability to deliver, citing his impressive track record as former governor of Lagos State. “The track records are there because Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has done it before as the governor of Lagos State. You can see how Lagos is now and you know how Lagos used to be before now. He was able to turn Lagos around positively, so I don’t have any doubt that all the candidates in our party will carry the day,” he said.

The lawmaker commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for its preparedness in the general election but urged them to step up their game in the gubernatorial election. He noted that INEC did not expect the massive turnout of voters, adding that the people were prepared to elect a leader who could turn things around for the better.

Hon. Rotimi Agunsoye’s prediction comes amidst a highly contested presidential election between the APC’s Bola Tinubu and the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) Atiku Abubakar. With results expected in the coming days, Nigerians await with bated breath to see who will emerge victorious and lead the country for the next four years.
