The Chairman of the Senate Committee on Industries and the Senator representing Lagos East Senatorial District, Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, FCA, has sent his felicitations to Hon Babajimi Benson, member of the House of Representatives representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency, on the occasion of his 51st birthday.
In a statement released by his media aide, Mr. Enitan Olukotun, Senator Abiru described Hon Benson as a dedicated representative who has been making a positive impact on the lives of his constituents since he assumed office. The senator specifically cited Hon Benson’s people-oriented initiatives like Apo Anu, a food bank for the needy, and other laudable projects and programmes under the auspices of the iCare Foundation.
Senator Abiru expressed his pride in Hon Benson’s accomplishments both at the National Assembly and in Ikorodu, and joined his family, friends, political associates, and well-wishers in congratulating him on his special day. He also prayed that Almighty God grant him good health as he ages gracefully.
Hon Babajimi Benson, a two-term member of the House of Representatives, is known for his outstanding leadership skills, dedication, and commitment to his constituents’ welfare. He has been recognized for his numerous achievements in office, including the establishment of the first-ever Federal College of Education in Ikorodu, the completion of the Oreyo-Ishawo road, and the construction of a police station in Igbogbo, among other projects.
