The Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, Hon. Barr. Moyosore Ogunlewe, on Monday received members of the Lagos State House of Assembly Committee on Health Services. The committee, led by the Chairman, Hon. Noheem Adams, and member of Lagos State Assembly representing Kosofe Constituency 2, Hon. Femi Saheed, was on an inspection visitation to health facilities and the Ultra-Modern Primary Health Center at Emanuel Primary School, Ojota in Kosofe Local Government.
Hon. Ogunlewe, accompanied by the Head of Administration, Mrs. Ogabi A., Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Oguntoyinbo Kehinde, Supervisor for Health, Hon. Elugbidin Abayomi, and the management team, welcomed the committee members and acknowledged their good works for the people of Lagos State.
During the visit, Hon. Ogunlewe reassured the committee of his administration’s commitment to improving the quality and standard of service delivery in Kosofe Local Government. He stated, “Our Administration will not relent in ensuring that welfare package for our people is a rule rather than exception whether on provision of infrastructures, education, health and other good things that will make people comfortable and happy.”
The committee members were pleased with the facilities they saw during the visit and commended the local government for its efforts in providing quality healthcare services to the people of Kosofe. They also promised to continue to support the local government in achieving its objectives in improving the quality of life for its citizens.
The visit by the Lagos State House of Assembly Committee on Health Services is a positive step towards improving healthcare services in Kosofe Local Government, and the local government’s commitment to the welfare of its people is commendable.
