The Farmcity International Chairman and prominent Kosofe-based politician, Lanre Carew, was among the distinguished guests present at the Presidential Villa on Tuesday. This follows his notable attendance at the swearing-in ceremony of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, held at Eagle Square in Abuja the previous day.

Addressing speculations suggesting that his presence was the result of financial influence, careful investigation by the Kosofe Post has revealed that Carew’s invaluable contributions to the emergence of the Tinubu/Shettima presidency were genuinely recognized and appreciated by stakeholders in the presidency. Consequently, Carew received a well-deserved invitation to the prestigious event.

Numerous stakeholders within Kosofe Federal Constituency and Lagos State have expressed their enthusiasm regarding Carew’s recent involvement in the political landscape. Seun Awosanya, from Agboyi Ketu LCDA in Kosofe, took the opportunity to congratulate Nigerians on the advent of the new political dispensation. He emphasized the importance of peace, unity, and progress among political players in Kosofe, stating, “Until we understand that there’s no permanent friend nor enemy in Politics. It might be dirty at times, anyway. I solicit for peace, unity, and progress. Good morning and happy new dispensation.”
