The Social Democratic Party candidate, Kosofe Chapter, may work for the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Ashiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2023 general election.
The Kosofe Post reports that the SDP candidates, Lanre Carew and Moroof Adeleye, for the two state constituencies in Kosofe, are both aggrieved APC members who joined SDP to actualize their ambition.
According to our findings, the SDP party seems to be only interested in Kosofe constituency 1 & 2 seats. But the party, which allegedly had some APC top members, was silent on governorship, senatorial and House of Representatives choices.
A visit to SDP candidate Lanre Carew, however, took place in Kosofe’s Ogudu area on Friday, and a branded bus with an embossed picture of Ashiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu was spotted.
The development was unlike before, when Carew’s showcased all the candidates he was supporting on all his branded buses.
The Social Democratic Party, Labour Party, New Nigeria People’s Party, People’s Democratic Party, and All Progressives Congress were among the political parties that presented candidates for Kosofe constituency 1 & 2 state assembly seats in 2023.
