Honorable Olumoh Saad Lukman, Wife Conferred Chieftaincy Title

In a grand ceremony held at the Olu Agboyi’s palace in Agboyi ancient town, Agboyi Ketu LCDA, HRM Alaiyeluwa Oba Engr MAO Oladega Akinmasa 1, the monarch of Agboyi Kingdom, has conferred the prestigious chieftaincy title of Otunba Bobadega of Agboyi Kingdom and Yeye Otunba Bobadega of Agboyi Kingdom on Honorable Olumoh Saad Lukman, Member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Ajeromi Ifelodun I, and his wife.

The title of Otunba Bobadega holds a significant meaning, referring to the Escort of the crown Prince or king during his installation.

During the event, Oba Oladega praised Honorable Olumoh Saad Lukman for his unwavering dedication to the Agboyi community, citing his instrumental role in the installation of the 4th Olu of Agboyi and his commendable service to the people. The monarch emphasized the importance of the newly installed Otunba Bobadega in safeguarding the interests and welfare of the people of Lagos.

Oba Oladega while soliciting for developmental projects from the state also highlighted the ongoing development projects in Agboyi Island, particularly the construction of the Agboyi Ketu Bridge, which will connect five communities in Kosofe Local Government and enhance connectivity in the area.

Expressing his gratitude, Honorable Olumoh Saad Lukman, the newly installed Otunba Bobadega, acknowledged the honor bestowed upon him and his family. He regarded it as a significant responsibility that will drive him to contribute further to society. He expressed his appreciation to Oba Engineer Monsuru Oladega for the recognition and vowed to fulfill his duties with utmost dedication.

Addressing the concerns of indigenous people, Honorable Olumoh assured Lagosians that their interests and rights would be protected. He referred to the inauguration speech of the Speaker, emphasizing the commitment of the 10th assembly to safeguard the indigenous people of Lagos. He assured the public that under the leadership of Right Honorable Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa and Governor Babajide Sanwoolu, the government would ensure the safety and welfare of all Lagosians, with the indigenous population receiving their due rights and benefits.
