On Tuesday, senior and junior management staff, along with other well-wishers, came together to celebrate the birthday of the newly appointed Kosofe Council Manager, Mr. Olanrewaju Olalere. The surprise birthday party was a heartfelt gesture to welcome Olalere, who recently transferred from the Iru-Victoria Island Local Council Development Area to Kosofe.
Olalere’s arrival followed the unceremonious redeployment of the former Head of Administration at the Council. Elected officials, appointees, and council staff had previously commended Olalere for his teamwork and seamless support in ensuring the smooth functioning of the local government despite his relatively short tenure.
Mrs. Adebayo Aina, the Kosofe Council Engr. Builder, described Olalere as a good-hearted, accommodating, and hardworking individual in the office. She stated, “He’s a man of pleasant character and he’s ready to accommodate anyone that comes his way.”
The Human Resources Officer expressed his gratitude for Olalere’s openness and willingness to collaborate. Despite their limited interaction due to his recent arrival, Olalere has already made a positive impression on the staff.
Mr. Abayomi Nasiru Aminu, the Head of Education, expressed his joy at Olalere’s leadership qualities. He highlighted Olalere’s commitment to exceeding expectations and his overall positive impact on the team.
As they celebrated Olalere’s birthday, the staff expressed their wishes for a long and healthy life for the Council Manager, along with the fulfillment of all his aspirations.
