The Executive Chairman Ikosi Isheri Local Council Development Area, Kosofe, Princess Samiat Bada has made her stabce clear- she’s not backing down following the speculations that some of her appointees are eyeing her seat.

Taking to her Whatsapp status on Saturday, Princess Samiat Bada issued a musical jab, declaring, “Accept for your boss, she’s coming back.” This cryptic message seemed to address the mounting pressure both outside and within her cabinets as the local government chairmanship race looms.

Despite having taken the oath of office twice, Princess Samiat Bada is resolute in her belief that she can run again. Backing on the administrative law enacted by the Lagos State House of Assembly, which lacks a time limit for LCDA Chairmen, as her legal footing. However, some voices, like Oloye Seun Salami, challenge this interpretation, pointing out the need for compliance with the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
