Loogun Oyekunle Jegede, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has issued a stern warning against disrespecting Otunba Bushira Alebiosu, the Leader of the Governor Advisory Council. Jegede’s statement comes in response to unwarranted attacks on Otunba Bushira by supporters of Hon. Kafilat Ogbara, the lawmaker representing Kosofe Federal Constituency of Lagos.
The controversy arose following the unveiling of Hon. James Faleke, the lawmaker representing Ikeja Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, as the state coordinator of the Justice Forum wing of the APC. Supporters of Hon. Ogbara directed criticism towards Otunba Bushira in connection with this development.
However, Jegede emphasized Otunba Bushira’s esteemed leadership status within the Lagos East Senatorial District, referring to him as “Baba wa Otunba.” He praised Otunba Bushira’s integrity, dedication to the community’s well-being, and genuine concern for the welfare of constituents.
“In a world often marred by lack of transparency and consistency in leadership, Otunba Bushira stands out as a beacon of integrity,” Jegede stated. “His unwavering dedication to our community’s betterment and genuine concern for each constituent is commendable.”
Jegede urged APC members to rally behind Otunba Bushira, emphasizing his leadership qualities of respect, unity, progress, and collaboration. He emphasized the importance of supporting Otunba Bushira’s efforts to lead the constituency towards a brighter future, built on trust, unity, and shared prosperity.
“As we navigate the challenges of our time, it is leaders like Otunba Bushira who inspire hope and confidence in a brighter tomorrow for our constituency,” Jegede remarked. “His open communication, genuine commitment to welfare, and unwavering integrity are qualities we should all emulate.”
Jegede reiterated his call for APC members to stand by Otunba Bushira, expressing confidence that under his leadership, the constituency will continue to progress towards a better future.
