Mrs. Samiat Bada, the Executive Chairperson of Ikosi Isheri LCDA, Kosofe Area, recently conducted an inspection of the ongoing construction of a Primary Health Centre, a flagship project under her administration.
The initiative aims to fulfill the council’s obligation of providing healthcare services to the Ikosi Isheri community. Once completed, the Primary Health Centre is expected to enhance access to quality healthcare services and alleviate the burden on existing healthcare facilities, which residents currently travel long distances to access.
While the exact cost of the project remains undisclosed, Mrs. Bada emphasized its significance in improving the local community’s well-being. She credited the project’s realization to the prudent utilization of local council funds.
“People often question the use of local government funds, but projects like this demonstrate the tangible impact of our administration’s initiatives,” stated Mrs. Samiat Bada, expressing gratitude to the federal and state governments for facilitating access to funds for local government and council development areas.
The project will also boost the council’s rankings among Lagos State’s local government and council development areas.
