Prof. Lekan Abdul’s Son Graduates with Distinction from UofT

Prof. Lekan Abdul, an esteemed internist and nephrologist based in Canada, proudly honored his son, Oluwadunmininu, for graduating with distinction from the University of Toronto (UofT). Oluwadunmininu, affectionately known as Dunmi, was among the standout graduates recognized during the university’s week-long ceremonies held at the prestigious Convocation Hall from June 3 to June 21, 2024.

Expressing his delight exclusively to the KosofePost, Prof. Lekan Abdul described his son’s achievement as a significant milestone. “It was a great achievement for him as a young man to come out with distinction, which is not an easy feat at the University of Toronto,” remarked Prof. Abdul, noting the university’s global standing. “For him to have accomplished that, I know what it takes.”

Looking forward, Oluwadunmininu is currently pursuing an internship at one of Toronto’s largest law firms, a testament to his ambitions and drive. Prof. Abdul shared his hopes and advice for his son’s future endeavors, emphasizing the importance of diligence and focus in achieving success. “I am delighted for him. I wish him all the best, and I am confident he will make it,” he affirmed.

Joining the celebration, Bilesanmi Abayomi, Publisher of KosofePost and brother-in-law to Prof. Lekan Abdul, congratulated Oluwadunmininu on his accomplishment. “As he graduates with an Honours Bachelor of Arts, he has not only made his parents proud but also Nigeria as a whole,” Abayomi remarked, extending his wishes for continued success in Oluwadunmininu’s future endeavors.
