The leader of the Kosofe Legislative Arm in Lagos, Hon. Idowu Oluloro, has unveiled a five-day programme for the 2024 legislative week, scheduled for November 4 to November 8.
In an interview with KosofePost, Hon. Oluloro revealed that the event, themed “Synergizing Legislative Council and Community Engagement,” will focus on fostering stronger ties between the council and the community.
The week will kick off on November 4 with visits to local leaders and traditional rulers in Kosofe. An open plenary session on November 5 will follow, featuring the decoration of a “One-Day House Leader” from among primary school students in the area. Writing materials will also be distributed to all primary schools in Kosofe Local Government.
On November 6, the programme will focus on health, with sanitary materials presented to health centers and public medical checkups conducted.
The event will culminate in the presentation of a new by-law on November 7, followed by a thanksgiving service on November 8.
