Councillor Bashiru Omogbolahan Saheed Elewedu has emerged as a leading contender for the chairmanship of Agboyi-Ketu Local Council Development Area (LCDA), following a series of high-profile endorsements from key stakeholders within the All Progressives Congress (APC).
At a meeting held at the Agboyi-Ketu APC Secretariat, Ward Chairmen and other party faithful gathered to affirm their support for Elewedu’s candidacy. The gathering, which attracted a large turnout of well-wishers, signalled growing grassroots momentum in favour of his bid to succeed the outgoing Chairman, Mayor Dele Oshinowo.
Similarly, the Conference of Women Leaders of the APC in Agboyi-Ketu LCDA, comprising representatives across zones, wards, and the local government area, also threw their weight behind Elewedu. The women leaders described their endorsement as a call for continuity and further consolidation of progress within the council.
With the growing number of endorsements, Councillor Bashiru Omogbolahan Saheed Elewedu is widely seen as a strong front-runner to lead Agboyi-Ketu LCDA into its next phase of development.
