Elewedu Begins Consultations for Agboyi Ketu LCDA Chairmanship Bid

Saheed Omogbolan, popularly known as Elewedu, the Councilor representing Ward B and the majority leader of Agboyi Ketu Local Council Development Area, has commenced consultations towards succeeding the outgoing Chairman of the council. Sources revealed to The Kosofe Post that Elewedu has embarked on a consultation tour, engaging decision-makers within the All Progressives Congress (APC) including the Governor Advisory Council, Agboyi Ketu cabinet members, political leaders, and opinion influencers.

Elewedu’s entry into the race has notably increased the number of contestants and stirred tension among other aspirants, owing to his close relationship with the incumbent council Chairman. As of the time of reporting, at least nine aspirants have declared their intentions to contest under the APC banner, with expectations of more contenders joining the race in the coming weeks.
