Online news platform KosofePost has joined residents, traditional leaders, and stakeholders in celebrating the third coronation anniversary of His Royal Majesty, Alayeluwa Oba Saliu Babatunde Saliu Elebo II, the Oloworo of Oworonshoki.
In a goodwill message issued on Sunday, June 15, the publisher of KosofePost, Bilesanmi Abayomi KOKO, conveyed heartfelt congratulations to the monarch on behalf of the media organisation and its management team.
“I heartily congratulate His Royal Majesty, Oba Saliu Babatunde Saliu Elebo II, the Oloworo of Oworonshoki, on the third anniversary of your reign,” the statement read. “May your leadership as the custodian of our cultural heritage continue to foster unity, inspire progress, and bring transformative development and pride to the Oworonshoki community.”
The monarch’s anniversary celebration attracted goodwill messages and tributes from across the community. Religious leaders, traditional chiefs, representatives from the Kosofe Local Government Education Authority (KLGEA), political figures, youth bodies, and civil society groups all paid glowing tributes to Oba Elebo II, lauding his efforts in promoting peace, preserving culture, and supporting grassroots development.
Oba Saliu Babatunde Saliu Elebo II ascended the Oloworo throne in 2022 and has since earned the respect and admiration of residents for his steady leadership and commitment to unity and progress in the Oworonshoki kingdom.
The anniversary is seen not only as a celebration of his reign but also as a reaffirmation of his role in the social and cultural transformation of the community.
