Former Leader of the Legislative Arm in Kosofe Local Government, Hon. Idowu Oluloro, has shared highlights from his recent visit to the Dead Sea on his Facebook page.
In his post, Oluloro described the remarkable natural feature that makes the Dead Sea famous — the ease with which visitors float on its surface due to its exceptionally high salt concentration. He noted that the salinity level is so intense that it supports flotation for people of all sizes, while preventing the survival of aquatic life.
He also pointed out the widely held belief that the mineral-rich water possesses medicinal and therapeutic qualities.
Photographs posted alongside the update show Oluloro and other tourists relaxing effortlessly on the water and exploring the unique shoreline.
Oluloro rounded off his post with a note of gratitude, saying, “God is great.”
