Peace is gradually returning to the Kosofe Local Government chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as supporters of major political actors have paused hostilities and halted their social media attacks.
Kosofe Post had earlier reported the rising tension within the party and called for urgent intervention from key stakeholders. Though many of the long-standing grievances remain unresolved, developments in the past week suggest that party leaders and their supporters are now shifting from open confrontation to quiet negotiations behind closed doors.
Observers say the decision to embrace dialogue marks a positive step toward restoring harmony within the party. According to them, the stability of the local council is closely linked to the unity of the APC, and any prolonged internal conflict could hinder governance and development.
They urged all stakeholders to consolidate the emerging peace and deepen cooperation in the interest of sustained progress for the Kosofe community.
