The Mayor Dele Oshinowo Foundation (MDOF) has unveiled a major health initiative aimed at improving access to healthcare for vulnerable residents across Greater Kosofe. In collaboration with the Lagos State Health Management Agency (LASHMA), the foundation will provide free health insurance coverage to 2,000 residents spanning the area’s three councils.
The programme, which seeks to promote equitable healthcare access and strengthen community wellbeing, is scheduled to run from December 16 to 18, 2025, with each council hosting one session:
December 16 – Ikosi–Isheri LCDA
Venue: LCDA Headquarters
December 17 – Kosofe Local Government
Venue: Kosofe LG Headquarters
December 18 – Agboyi-Ketu LCDA
Venue: Ketu PHC, Akintan Street, Mascara
Residents with a valid LASSRA identity card are eligible to enroll, and interested beneficiaries can register via the official foundation link: https://bit.ly/mayordeleoshinowofoundation.
Highlighting the programme, the foundation emphasized its commitment to reducing financial barriers and promoting the adoption of health insurance among underserved communities.
