The All Progressives Congress (APC) 2023 House of Representatives aspirant for Kosofe Federal Constituency, Hon. Remi Odunsi Organisation (ROO), has renewed her party membership and called on residents of the constituency to actively participate in the ongoing nationwide APC membership registration exercise.
The registration exercise, which commenced across the country on January 5, 2026, has recorded increasing participation in several communities. Earlier this week, Hon. Odunsi visited registration centres across Kosofe Local Government Area, Agboyi-Ketu Local Council Development Area (LCDA), and Ikosi-Isheri LCDA, where she commended party members and residents for their enthusiasm and commitment to the process.
Speaking during her visits, ROO described the turnout at the registration desks as encouraging, noting that the exercise was progressing smoothly across the constituency. She disclosed that registration is ongoing, with slips already being issued to registrants, while permanent membership cards are expected to be released in due course.
The aspirant confirmed that she had personally completed her registration, using the opportunity to urge both new and existing party members to do the same. She appealed to APC members who are yet to register to ensure they participate fully and collect their membership cards.
According to her, active participation in the registration exercise is vital to strengthening democratic values and deepening grassroots involvement in party affairs. She stressed that collective engagement at the constituency, state, and national levels would further consolidate the party’s structure and amplify citizens’ voices in governance.
The APC membership registration exercise forms part of the party’s broader efforts to reinforce its grassroots base ahead of future electoral contests.
As part of efforts to encourage participation and strengthen party engagement, Hon. Odunsi distributed branded bags of rice to APC members within the constituency. The items, clearly marked with APC insignia and messages urging party members to register, were shared during mobilisation activities in various communities.
