Following persistent calls from fans and online critics urging him to prioritise his education, popular African streamer Habeeb Hamzat Adelaja, widely known as Peller, has responded with documented proof of his academic progress.
The content creator took to social media to share a screenshot of his 2023 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) results, putting to rest speculation about whether he completed secondary school.
WAEC Results Breakdown
According to the result slip, Peller sat for his examinations at Front Runner City College, Ikorodu, recording passes in several core subjects:
Marketing: B3
English Language: C4
Mathematics: C5
Economics: C4
Reacting humorously, the streamer urged followers to “ignore that Yoruba,” referencing an E8 grade in the subject. Despite this, the results confirm that he met the basic requirements for tertiary education in Nigeria. The slip also shows that his Literature in English result was cancelled, a detail that has not hindered his academic progression.
Confirms University Admission
To further silence doubts, Peller followed up with a photo of the Caleb University signpost, specifically pointing to the College of Law annex. The post strongly suggested that he is currently enrolled in the private institution.
“I go to private university is that clear 🤗”, Peller wrote on Facebook.
Balancing Fame and Education
Peller’s public response comes amid growing scrutiny of young influencers whose online success often raises questions about long-term career sustainability. By sharing his academic credentials, the streamer positions himself as an example of balancing digital fame with formal education, signalling a commitment to securing his future beyond the streaming spotlight.
