The All Progressives Congress (APC) flagbearer for the Kosofe Federal Constituency House of Representatives seat, Mayor Dele Oshinowo, has launched a digital registration platform for volunteers and support groups seeking to join his campaign ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The campaign announced the initiative in an official statement on Thursday, following what it described as growing interest from residents and groups across the constituency seeking to participate in Oshinowo’s campaign structure.

Oshinowo said the campaign had received significant support since his emergence as the APC candidate for the federal constituency.

“Since we announced our candidacy for the Federal House of Representatives, Kosofe Federal Constituency, on the platform of the APC, the response has been massive,” Oshinowo said.

He said the support had come from a broad range of stakeholders, including community leaders, market associations, youth groups, artisans, professionals and residents across Kosofe.

“From community leaders, market bodies, youth groups, artisans, professionals, to everyday residents across Kosofe, the wave of support and goodwill has been extraordinary. The verdict is clear: Kosofe wants experienced, people-first leadership,” he added.

Digital Campaign Structure

According to the campaign, the new digital platform is designed to formally register and coordinate volunteers, neighbourhood organisers, support groups and policy advocates interested in contributing to the campaign.

The initiative is expected to help expand the campaign’s grassroots structure across the various wards and communities that make up the Kosofe Federal Constituency.

The development comes shortly after a Lagos State APC stakeholders’ meeting held earlier in the week, where party leaders reportedly reaffirmed Oshinowo’s candidacy for the 2027 House of Representatives election.

The campaign said the volunteer registration initiative would provide an avenue for residents interested in supporting Oshinowo’s bid to formally join the campaign structure and participate in activities ahead of the election.

As preparations for the 2027 elections intensify, the move signals an effort by the Oshinowo campaign to combine its traditional grassroots mobilisation with digital tools for volunteer coordination and wider community engagement.
