Mayor Dele Oshinowo, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Kosofe Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, has continued his grassroots campaign with a multi-community tour across Greater Kosofe.
The outreach saw Oshinowo and his campaign team engage residents, community leaders and representatives of Community Development Associations (CDAs) on local concerns, legislative priorities and constituency representation.
The day-long tour began with engagements at Irepodun Shangisha, Unity Shangisha and Shangisha North CDAs, where residents participated in town-hall-style discussions with the candidate.

The delegation subsequently visited Olowoira, Idi-Orogbo, Unity, Irewolede, Idera, Ifesowapo, Irepodun, Kareem and Ifelodun CDAs.
The campaign also covered Isheri, Isheri-Oke, Isheri-Atere and Gateway CDAs before concluding with evening engagements at Magodo CDA and Unilag Estate CDA.
Speaking after the engagements, Oshinowo said residents repeatedly raised the need for accessible and responsive representation at the National Assembly.
“Everywhere we went, one thing stood out: our people want representation that is accessible, responsive, and truly connected to them,” he said.
Oshinowo said the engagements formed part of his “Stronger Representation, Stronger Kosofe” campaign platform.
The campaign team said the grassroots tour would continue across other wards, CDAs and communities within the Kosofe Federal Constituency ahead of the 2027 election.
