The campaign of Mayor Dele Oshinowo, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Kosofe Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives, has continued its engagement with traditional institutions across Greater Kosofe.

Oshinowo and members of the MDO Campaign Team, under the banner “Stronger Representation, Stronger Kosofe,” recently visited traditional rulers in Oworonshoki, Ketu and Agboyi II to seek their blessings and present his vision for the constituency ahead of the 2027 election.

The delegation first paid a courtesy visit to His Royal Majesty, Oba Saliu Babatunde Saliu, the Oloworo of Oworonshoki Kingdom. The monarch offered prayers for the campaign and expressed support for Oshinowo’s candidacy.

The team also visited His Royal Majesty, Oba Isiaka Oyero, the Oba of Ketu, Kosofe Land, who welcomed the delegation and offered his blessings and encouragement.

The royal tour concluded with a visit to His Royal Majesty, Oba Taiwo Lamina, the Oba Oruba of Agboyi II. The monarch received the delegation and expressed solidarity with Oshinowo and his campaign.

Speaking during the visits, Oshinowo highlighted the role of traditional institutions in community development and democratic engagement.

“These royal blessings mean a great deal to us,” Oshinowo said. “They serve as a powerful reminder that our message is reaching every corner of Greater Kosofe and that the desire for stronger representation continues to resonate deeply with our people. Greater Kosofe is ready.”

The visits form part of the campaign’s ongoing consultations with traditional, community, religious and political stakeholders across the federal constituency.
